BART Station Area Specific Plan, Millbrae, CA

ROMA prepared a plan which provides for the revitalization of the station area as well as for the creation of a major intermodal transit facility including BART, Caltrain and SamTrans. The plan provides an appropriate land use planning and community redevelopment framework that allows the City to take best advantage of the significant public investment being made in transportation facilities. Land uses include office, hotel, residential and retail. The plan calls for the creation of an intensive mixed-use district. Station Square will create a civic gateway between the BART Station and downtown Millbrae. The 47-acre study area is characterized by underutilized service commercial uses.
